"We stayed at The Beach House with our family of 12. The venue has been recently decorated and furnished to a tasteful and high standard. Plenty of comfortable seating both in and outside . The kitchen is very well equipped and will comfortably cater for many people. We were lucky to stay during some fine summer weather so we were able to take advantage of the beautiful mature garden with hot tub, heated pool, fire pit, Weber BBQ, brick pizza oven and table tennis. The owners Steph and Eric were excellent proprietors. They were on hand to answer any questions regarding the house. They were friendly and happy to make time for us throughout our stay. In addition to this, they own Edge Water Sports located 100 meters along the beach front. We made great use of this with some Wing SUP lessons and hire. Steph and Eric made sure we wanted for nothing, with the whole party feeling very well looked after with excellent value for money. We highly recommend this location. I will be intending to return with my side of the family at some point in the future I hope. A rare find !!!"

"Wow what a house. Spent the Bank Holiday celebrating my 50th Birthday in this beautiful house - 18 adults & a 12mth old baby. This is a truly amazing house in a perfect location with great facilities… a real home from home.
Fully equipped kitchen, relaxing lounges plus a fab hot tub & even a pool.
Great communication with Steph from initial booking right up to arrival.

The garden and terrace are lovely and the pool is great for a lot of fun. Followed by the hot tub on a chilly day. We ate outside most days on the terrace. The beach is so near and really sandy and great for children The owners have put a lot of thought into the house and it is perfect for a group or family holiday"

"I fell in love with the look of this venue the moment I saw it. With my hen do in mind I rang the proprietor to ensure they would accept and all female group, which they confirmed they did and helped me with my booking. I have messaged them several times making enquires about things we could do in the local area on our trip and have had kind, quick responses and great advice each time. Sadly due to recent events (covid 19) the government isn’t permitting hospitality to reopen in time for my hen do. I was devastated watching the news realising this meant my dream hen do could not go ahead. The venue handled my enquires quickly and in the most friendly manner, which has helped minimise my stress at what is an awful time for everyone. I fully intend to visit the beach house with my sisters and our families once we are safely out of this crisis!"

"Perfect beach getaway with friends
The house is absolutely beautiful, exceeded our expectations and has everything you need to host the perfect weekend with friends.
There is every kitchen utensil, sharing board and crockery set you will need, along with an impressive dining table which we hosted dinner on for 15 people.
Steph was extremely accommodating, quick and helpful responses prior to arrival and met us when we checked in to make sure we had enough ideas for things to do on the weekend, along with a quick tour of the house with clear instructions.
We very much enjoyed the luxury of the hot tub we didn't quite brave the pool as it was March, but I am looking forward to coming back again to enjoy all of the outdoor activities like table tennis, pizza oven, outdoor shower and of course being on the doorstep of the beach.

"New Year 2019/20 - what a great way to start the year
We have stayed at the Beach House three years running to celebrate New Year with friends aged from 2yrs - 86 years. We are a group of friends who have known each other for over 20 years and have met each New Year since the Millenium. The Beach House has been a great venue for us- log fire, lots of space for different groups to do their own thing: to prepare meals, play board games, read by the fire, go in the hot tub - it met everyone's needs - loved lying in bed listening to the sea - fabulous views and good coastal walks too. - and a family wedding to toast in champagne too - we could seat 20 easily for our celebration black tie dinner! Well fitted out kitchen - with plenty of dishes and glasses, 2 dishwashers and lots of fridge space + washing and drying facilities and a warm and relaxed welcome from owner. It must be lovely in the summer if the weather is good - short walk to lovely sandy beach, and very attractive garden and pool. Relaxed and modern design made us relaxed and comfortable - I would highly recommend. Payment and website and admin could be better - but straight forward personal communication has been easy and generous. We would love to go again - works well at all different times of the year."

"Highly Recommend What a lovely house. Steph was very welcoming when we arrived and very responsive to emails. We had 23 people in the house over Xmas 2019. We tried to book for next Xmas but unfortunately it is already booked! When we arrived, the house was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. We had food deliveries that were delivered straight to the kitchen door. The house is very spacious and we spread ourselves out in the various rooms. There are stunning sea views from both lounges. We made good use of the hot tub and some of the kids even made use of the outside pool. The house is in a great location and we could walk to the beach and to town easily. Would highly recommend and would love to go back one day."

"Fabulous House. Four families (15 persons) met up for our annual reunion.
The accommodation was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Too cold for the outdoor pool but thanks to the great weather we were able to make the most of the hot tub, pizza oven and outdoor areas.
The kitchen is well equipped to deal with large groups and the huge dining room easily sat us all.
A short walk (3 mins) down to the beach where you can stroll towards Exmouth or at low tide, around to Sandy Bay (AKA Broadchurch).
Steph made us all feel very welcome and her local knowledge is a gold mine.

"We were 5 families with a total of 19 people + 3 dogs celebrating the upcoming 16th birthday of our teenagers and it is hard to imagine we could have found anywhere better. Well refurbished and equipped rooms & bathrooms in the house and the lovely garden with its very popular hot tub & pool + games area. "An absolutely beautiful house, fantastic location, perfect for walks , for getting to the beach, for watersports, and for exploring (17 of us went on a paddleboard safari which was brilliant fun we all loved every minute of it, Steph and Guy were guiding us all the way and their expertise was brilliant ! The house is really well equipped, the bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely and very spacious. We were 5 groups of friends together with our children and the weekend was for celebrating their 16th birthdays, there was plenty of room for us all to be together or doing different things, the kids spent time in the hot tub every evening, the swimming pool was great and being able to eat outside as the weather was fab, it was a real bonus!
